2025 Lil' Pardners Rodeo

Sunday June 15th, 2025

We are very excited about the program and we are sure you will be too! You and
your special “pardner” will be guests of the Livermore Rodeo Foundation and Livermore Stockman’s Rodeo Association to participate and be "cowboys and cowgirls for a day".
This event will be limited to 40 special needs participants who are between the ages of 5 and 17 years old (as of June 9, 2024). Attending family members are limited to 6
people, including your participant for that day. The Lil Pardners Rodeo is scheduled to
precede the Livermore Rodeo performance, with the general public in attendance
invited to see this heartwarming event.

The schedule of the Lil' Pardners Rodeo starts off with check in, where your participant will receive items donated by local businesses and supportive individuals. Then your participant will be paired up with a real cowboy or cowgirl and engages in simulate rodeo activities inside the Livermore Rodeo arena. To round up the event you and your participant will be provided lunch.
The events being held inside the rodeo arena include steer roping using pretend steers, an eight-second ride on a hand-rocked bull and bareback horse, barrel racing using stick horses, and a ride on a real horse! All events are designed to be appropriate as well as providing sensory stimulation for all participants with special needs. Safety considerations are foremost at all times
The entire hour-long performance is announced by the official rodeo announcer for the
Livermore Rodeo. Following completion of the arena events, each participant is
recognized with his/her cowboy or cowgirl, and is awarded a trophy and the opportunity of a photograph with child and his/her cowboy/cowgirl.
The Lil' Pardners Rodeo participants and their families are then treated as our guests to the Livermore Rodeo Sunday performance, so they can see their cowboys/cowgirls in action. An area has been reserved for our participants and their families that covered and handicap accessible is at the north end of the arena.
